HIFOOD, part of CSM Ingredients, was founded in 2012 in Parma, in the heart of the Italian “Food Valley”, by a group of entrepreneurs.
Today it is specialized in the research, development and production of ingredients of natural origin including innovative fibres and systems, new-generation vegetable proteins (also textured) sugar, salt and eggs substitutes, palm oil and fat replacers, plant-based systems, in addition to gluten-free and free from ingredients as well as for the conventional, plant-based and disruptive food industry.
Since 1963, Italcanditi has been using the best base ingredients to make small and large masterpieces of taste based on fruit.
In 2024, Italcanditi integrated its knowhow with CSM Ingredients’ capabilities in the Fruit and Water Based Preparations field by launching Vitalfood, a new pan-European player with two production facilities in Pedrengo (Italy) and Goes (Netherlands).
